Great to hear good feedback on these laptops, - I have seen videos of swapping the card, however, that's a bit of a nawse after spending good money on a machne, so would rather not go that route. Yes you can change out the card but i might just go with what you would have to check out what happens.
You might just have a good one. So the situation with these Killer network cards is a pot-luck affair If you have a warranty with Dell and that card goes faulty then Dell will have to replace the card. If they refused then they would be liable to action against them. I did have a nagging problem with the touchpad at one time and an engineer arrived and replaced it under their guarantee. They do not tend to mess around they would be open to scrutiny as they know.
I truly do not think you need to be stressing throughout the network card and you also will have a warranty as you have stated.
